As I have already mentioned I liked the ending and thought it was interesting to think about what may happen in the future with the way things ended up.
Oh, never mind, I think a little demon may have whispered the answer in my ear. I was incredibly lucky to win the last ARC of Last Rite from Lisa Desrochers herself many months ago now and I immediately devoured the book in one sitting.
And all the talk of King Lucifer and his motivations was really interesting and thought provoking. City of Lost Souls.

I know Frannie’s Sway is powerful and all, but he let himself get so tempted that everything went to shit in the last book and basically stayed that w Not clear on how I feel about the ending except that I’m glad that Gabe ended up where he did in the end.
As for the plot, it’s a little slow to pick up but the second half of the book is non-stop surprises and action. Aug 03, Kiki rated it it was amazing. Every time a series comes to an end, I feel a bit of sadness. Now well, after my review As I said, Last Rite was great. Frannie Cavanaugh is a good Laxt girl with a bit of a wicked streak.

It was better than I thought it could be at the beginning, and just grew betterererer I know that isn’t a word but the emphasis is needed for Last Rite. Lisa Desrochers tied everything up nicely and I was left with a smile on my face. Yes, in the middle of a holy-heck-what-is-going-to-happen-here scene, I found myself giggling out loud.
Original Sin, book 2 was like sinful I was moved to tears with the agonizing exchanges between Frannie and Luc, and every moment they spent apart was like a waste of a second in hell. If Frannie doesn’t learn fast, the consequences could be devastating–even apocalyptic.

Apr 10, Valy P. What I love about their relationship is that both of them are hurt and you can see these are two people who care about each other. But if Luc fails, there will be Hell to pay. Now there were some cliffhangers from the gite two books but I’m happy to say they were all tied up. But Last Rite was a let down for me.
