This is our high-level measure of the quality and quantity of online attention that it has received. Here we report for the first time laser operation in an electrically pumped metallic-coated nanocavity formed by a semiconductor heterostructure encapsulated in a thin gold film. Users should refer to the original nanocabities version of the material for the full abstract.
