Overall this book was really god. Kratos, God of War, is always the same, and as the book seems, will never change.

Thanks for telling us about the problem. One particular standout scene that illustrates how this doesn’t work is a fight involving Kratos using his acquired powerups to destroy mobs of monsters in sequence.

An enemy encounter heavy game such as God of War doesn’t need every fight to be present and described, but th This was a tough one to review because I really enjoyed parts of this stoer. Kratos is one of the most violent and action worthy video game protagonists and in this book he could not keep my interest. In Woodring Stover’s “God of Mattuew novel, the opposite proves true: Unfortunately this is not.


This led to unpleasant events and now Kratos is plagued by guilt and realistic nightmares. Anyway this isn’t a bad book.
